Spring Break is almost here. Lots of joy to come but now it’s up to us to provide the kids’ sole entertainment 24 hours a day. So what to do? Don’t panic…pack! Here’s some easy family escapes that will thrill the little ones, provide lots of family fun, and mercifully, even please mama. As always, Blisscape offers the guaranteed lowest price and best free perks.

Palm Springs

Palm Springs Option 1: Rancho Las Palmas.
Rancho is a charming family resort with excellent cuisine. Older kids can delight in Rancho’s Splashtopia (crazy fun water slide) while even the little ones will enjoy the lazy river. Lots of ducks, swans, bunnies running around, plus with golf & tennis—something for everyone. Our kids love it. Blisscape bonus perks include breakfasts, upgrade, and free rounds of golf.

Palm Springs Option 2: Hyatt Regency Indian Wells.
The Hyatt is an elegant family friendly resort, featuring water slides in two of its several pools. Lots of effort is made here to appeal to mom and dad while still keeping the little ones happy. With lovely gardens and fountains, a great spa, golf, tennis, badminton, there’s plenty to do…but you may just be perfectly content lounging all day by the pool. Blisscape free perks include breakfasts, $100 credit, upgrade and late checkout.

San Diego Option 1: Hotel del Coronado
A wonderful mix of old and new, the famed Del offers a great family escape. It’s elegant and sophisticated, while still very focused on pleasing the kids. Coronado is an island off San Diego but the Zoo, Sea World, and Legoland are each only a few minutes away. Next to the landmark hotel are the Del’s new Beach Villas, a more luxe alternative that’s right on the sand. Either way, you’ll feel like a world away while still so close to home. Bliss perks include breakfasts, upgrade, VIP services, and a $100 resort credit.

San Diego Option 2: Park Hyatt Aviara
With one of the best trained staffs anywhere, the Aviara is one of our favorite family getaways. Beautiful grounds (we love the sculpture garden), excellent cuisine, great kids pool, fun playground, and a kids club with so much cool stuff that the parents will want to sneak in. Absolutely superb cusine. Perhaps the best breakfast buffet anywhere–and it’s complimentary. Blisscape bonus amenities included daily breakfast for two, $50 Resort credit, free wifi, a welcome amenity, a gift for each child (they get to pick!) and a guaranteed upgrade on booking.

Mexico: Now Amber. (All-inclusive)
If you’re feeling more initiated, Vallarta is a quick three hour flight from LA where the all-inclusive, reasonably priced Now Amber awaits. A wonderful family resort, Now Amber offers everything you need for a perfect holiday—excellent cuisine (8 restaurants), a beautiful beach, fantastic kids club, and its reasonably priced. The Now philosophy borrows a lot from Club Med—there’s entertainment day and night—but the room product is significantly more upscale. Their sister-resort, the adults-only Secrets Amber, is right next door — and many parents escape there for some serenity whenever possible (adults may dine at either resort.) Some are wary of Mexico, but we go every year and even our most discerning clients agree: Now is a winner.
