Go Campaign delivers local solutions to communities around the world.
By Gina Katz
Since 2006, GO Campaign has directly improved the lives of over 160,000 vulnerable children around the world by partnering with 166 pioneering Local Heroes, delivering local solutions to communities in 37 countries. GO Campaign shines a light on grassroots programs and has funded over 430 projects, giving children access to education, medical care, shelter, food, clean water and a fair chance in life.
GO identifies, carefully vets, then listens to Local Heroes around the world who are advocating for change to help vulnerable children in their communities thrive, because they know better than anyone what they need.
GO’s grants have a direct impact. With administrative and fundraising expenses covered by auctions and private sponsorship, 100% of private donations goes to GO Campaign’s partners. Unlike many large aid organizations, government agencies are not involved, therefore there is no red tape involved. They follow donor dollars to ensure every donation has the intended impact.
With GO, donors directly connect with projects. Whether it’s through in person or virtual travels or volunteer opportunities, no matter how you’re engaged they give everybody the opportunity to see just how easy it is to change a life.
Each year, GO’s biggest fundraising moment is their annual Gala. This year, GO is excited to announce that the 2020 GO Gala is GOING GLOBAL for the first time ever on Saturday, October 24 at 6pm PDT!
Hosted by GO Ambassadors Lily Collins, Ewan McGregor, and Robert Pattinson, the Global Virtual Gala includes appearances from celebrity GO Campaign supporters, plus musical performances by Grammy nominated HAIM, Grammy winner, Judith Hill, Ewan McGregor with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and more surprise guests! All donations will fund vital Covid-19 Relief for children across the globe and programs embracing racial equality in communities across the US. This is sure to be the biggest and best Gala yet!
